DAIQUIRI DIVA (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.5 lengths when fifth over 7f at Hobart three weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. NOBLE EXCEPTION (14) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 30 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 6¾f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. GEEGEES CITY BOY (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 5¾f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ESPUR (9) made some progress last start to finish eighth over 5½f at Hobart, beaten 3 lengths. Tackles a longer journey this time around and is capable of a top-three finish.
