GAELIC THUNDER (11) broke his maiden last start over 6½f at Toowoomba, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Re-unites with Nathan Evans who was on board last start. Can go right on with the job now. BORN FEARLESS (4) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 7f at this track. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Looks well placed so expect another big run. JOY MCCOY (1) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at Toowoomba, beaten 3.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. TALANA (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¼f at Toowoomba, beaten 3 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
