FOIX (2) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1m2 1/4f at this track. Expected to be in the finish again. LARABELLE (8) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 10 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m4f at Bendigo. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. RICH CURVES (12) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5.5 lengths away in tenth over 7½f at Mornington. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. PENDING LIST (5) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 9 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1m2 1/4f at this track. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
