YES YES TESS (11) resumes from a five months lay-off and looked close to a win before the break, starting favourite and finishing third at Wagga. Expect she has come on over the break. Well placed and happy to have her on top. GRACEFUL MIST (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 5f at Mornington when resuming after a break. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Leading contender. AQUILION GIRL (2) ran a better race last start when she did her best work late to finish a close second over 5f at Bairnsdale after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. FORTYSECONDSTREET (7) is a filly by Written Tycoon out of Pizzazz on debut. Didn’t do a lot in most recent trial. Betting to hold the key.
