MAWALLOCK (1) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate her win at Moonee Valley at the beginning of last prep. Has never tasted defeat when fresh from a lay-off in two attempts. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. MRS CHRISSIE (5) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 3 lengths over 5½f at Ballarat. Ms Carleen Hefel who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Well placed and should be in the finish. LADY DI DI (6) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 5f at Mornington. One of the main contenders. GIRL (4) started at 7/2 last time but could only manage eighth, beaten 4 lengths, at Bendigo over 6½f. Should be poised just off the lead. Not to be discounted.
