CHORLTON LANE (2) resumed over 7f at Bendigo last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by 1.5 lengths. Good record at this journey with three wins and four minor placings from seven starts and is sure to run well. TALBRAGAR (7) has returned in good shape this campaign. Opened with a third at Flemington two starts back then got the job done by half a length last time out over 6f at Mornington. Jamie Mott scored on him last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. RHEINBERG (6) started at 3/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing tenth and beaten 4 lengths at Flemington over 7f after being in contention on the bend. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. LETHAL THOUGHTS (13) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 7f at Bendigo. Can figure in the finish.
