PERILOUS FIGHTER (11) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher Moomba Plate won by Estriella over 5½f at Flemington, beaten 22 lengths into 15th. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expecting a bold showing. TWIN PERFECTION (4) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a nose over 5½f at Ballarat. Has a formidable combination with Brian Higgins who has been aboard for his last two wins. Should be in the finish. Group 3 placegetter SCISSOR STEP (9) has been kept fresh since finishing ninth over 5½f at Flemington five weeks ago. Was a determined winner two starts back. Can bounce back to winning form. Multiple Group 3 placegetter LA DANSEUSE ROUGE (8) is having her first run since November 7.
