SUPER BRIGHT (1) settled well back from a good draw last time before closing well to finish sixth, beaten 3 lengths, over 5½f at Randwick. Will be tough to hold out. SPIRIT OF VARANASI (6) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and sat just off the lead, eventually drawing away to score by half a length over 6f at Kembla Grange. Has a formidable combination with Keagan Latham who has been aboard for her last two wins. Likely to feature. LITTLE BAIA (8) finished second last time over 6f at Wyong when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a nose. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. KAHAWATY (16) hit the frame two starts ago at Wagga Riverside but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 5 lengths over 6½f at Wodonga. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
