SIGNOR TORTONI (3) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight before tiring to finish fourth and beaten 0.8 lengths over 6f at Randwick. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. THE ENCHANTER (6) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when third at this track over 6f. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will give a great sight. HOMERIC (8) faced the starter for the first time and was well supported but could only manage fourth last start at Beaumont (Newcastle) over 6f, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up. PRATT (10) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fourth over 5½f at Wyong two-and-a-half weeks ago. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
