PRETTY POWERFUL (10) recorded a strong maiden win over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) last time, getting there by 1.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he can go on with it. HEED THE OMENS (3) started at 7/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 7 lengths at Randwick over 1m. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be prominent. LOUGH ESKE (9) impressed when successful on debut over 6f at Beaumont (Newcastle) four weeks ago. Sure to make his presence felt again. Set Weights ELTER (11) was an effortless maiden winner last time out over 1m at Kembla Grange, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
