PROPHET'S PRIDE (5) was in the money two starts back at Canterbury but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 2.5 lengths, at Canterbury over 6¼f after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the talent to take this out. CHOP THE ICE (9) reunites with Damon Budler after scoring with ease over 6f87yards at this track last time. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from six outings. Expected to be in the finish. BATTLE ABBEY (10) was doing his best work late last start to get up for second over 5f87yards at this track. One of the main contenders. TULLA PARK (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by one length over 6f at this track. Likely to be there at the finish again.
