APPPLEBY (9) was in the money two starts back at Ballarat but couldn't back it up last time when ninth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at this track over 6½f. Has the ability to figure prominently. DAZZLING SKY (3) resumed over 6f at Mornington where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths. Was outdashed but got going late and the longer journey looks ideal. Hard to hold out. FLOWER MOON (5) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having her first outing under new trainer Toby Lake. Finished 12th at Sale over 5½f at the opening run last time in work. Can make her presence felt. CRAZY SHERIFF (11) turned things around last start and got the job done by 2 lengths over 6½f at Swan Hill. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
