SOUND IT OUT (17) was well in commission on her debut over 6f155yards at Geelong back on May 24 and finished fifth, beaten 7 lengths. Better for the run and can improve sharply. ROSE DIAMOND (13) will find this a little easier than her third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 1.3 lengths at the end of 6½f at this track. Has a low draw so a big run is anticipated. BEAUTIFUL JEWEL (10) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 3.5 lengths when seventh in a 6f38yards contest at Geelong two-and-a-half weeks ago. Faces an easier assignment so she is a major player. CAMERON FALLS (1) was below his best last time when 6 lengths from the winner in fifth over 7f at Ballarat. Has a high cruising speed. One of the better hopes.
