GIN O'CLOCK (3) is racing well, scoring by one length in a at Geelong then finishing a respectable fourth last time over 7f148yards at Morphettville when not too far away. Should be poised just off the lead. Will play a major role. MORRYL MORAL (7) was going okay prior to finishing 10 lengths back in 12th last start over 1m1f at Sandown-Hillside. Today's rider John Allen has a decent record aboard this four-year-old gelding so sharp improvement will not surprise. DUVACH (11) won when resuming two starts ago but was less effective last time out when 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7½f at Ballarat. Blinkers are removed. Should run well. BRUNGLE CREEK (6) resumed over 1m at Wodonga last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 2 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and must be included.
