SACRAMENTAL (12) made a strong late bid only to just miss when when resuming last start over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. PERSIAN SPIRIT (2) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 5f136yards at Geelong. Will be better for that latest run and is expected to run well again. HOWDY (16) met with solid support last start over 6f at Seymour when second, beaten 2.25 lengths. Great chance to atone. SHINJUKU (5) returns from a lay-off of five months and did win when resuming last time in work over 7f at Sale. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Makes plenty of appeal.
