VANISHING (9) debuted with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when in contention on the bend before winding up in third over 5½f at Werribee, beaten 2 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. SPICY MARGS (7) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on February 10 and finished 11th behind Estriella over 5½f in the G3 Peter Le Grand Stakes at Caulfield. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be in the finish. DIAMOND CITY (11) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 5f at Cranbourne, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. CHOSEN VENTURE (2) turned in another moderate effort last start when 12 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6½f at Warrnambool. Robert Beattie gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Capable of featuring prominently.
