ECLAIR DANCER (2) is a eight-start maiden who finished fourth at his most recent appearance over 1m2 1/4f at Moe. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. JOFFREY (5) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a head, over 1m3 1/4f at Geelong. Can measure up. PEACEFUL PROTEST (8) is a seven-start maiden who almost broke the ice last time out when a close second over 1m4f at this track after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. PLASTIC DREAMS (9) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start over 1m5 1/2f at Werribee, beaten 3.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards.
