MANSIERE (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 6½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Worth noting Rhys Mcleod goes aboard. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he can take this out. ROMANTIC CHOICE (2) recorded another success last time over 5½f at Warrnambool making it two straight wins this campaign. Same jockey stays aboard top chance again. LE PARRAIN (1) finished second last time over 5f at Warrnambool when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2.5 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. LIGHT WISH (7) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 6f at Caulfield Heath, beaten a long neck. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
