CASTEL TROSINO (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m7 1/2f at Mornington, beaten 5 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. KISSED BY EVIE (12) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 7f137yards at Lismore. One of the main contenders. TUQIRI (8) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he looks sure to be in the mix. EL ASTEROID (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Gatton, beaten 5.5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
