FUROSSHI (5) looks close to a win after four minor placings in a row, most recently finishing a very close second over 5f at this track after being in contention all the way. Should camp just off the leaders. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ROSE OF ENGLAND (2) broke through for her maiden win over 6f at Pakenham last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and she is one of the main chances. MACOCHA (9) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on June 7 finishing tenth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 6½f at Swan Hill. Worth plenty of thought. ACAPPELLA MOON (1) built on a nice third two starts back at Warrnambool with a win over 6½f at Avoca three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
