MAKE US PROUD (2) returns from a lay-off of 23 months and is having his first run for a new yard. Was a winner when fresh last campaign at Dundalk All Weather over 1m4f. Fitter for a fifth in a recent trial over 7f at Camperdown. Rates highly and can return in winning form. BELLAKAI (6) is racing well, scoring in a at Mt Gambier before finishing half a length from the winner in second last time over 1m4f at Geelong. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Expected to be in the finish. NISHINO CRESCENT (3) was never in contention when 9 lengths from the winner in 13th over 1m2f at Morphettville last start, a less impressive effort than his tenth at Sandown-Hillside the run before. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. HOLLANDIA (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 1m4f at Bendigo. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
