CHARLIE MESSY HAIR (2) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 1m5f. Ready to go a couple better. CLYDEBANK ROBBER (3) is yet to break through in 29 runs. Finished eighth at his last appearance over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley on October 26 after he got a long way back in the run. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. HOT CITY (5) finished 12 lengths back in seventh over 1m5f at this track at the latest appearance just a week-and-a-half ago. Capable of putting that recent failure behind him. HIGHLAND MAGIC (7) finished 14 lengths from the winner in sixth at her most recent outing over 1m2f at Warrnambool after she was well back on straightening. Expected to feature in the finish this time.
