HIT THE ROAD JACK (3) is a reliable jumper whose form at both disciplines has been strong recently. Clocked-in third last start (2m1f) at Sandown-Lakeside after he saluted on the flat at Flemington the run prior. Looks very hard to beat. NASSAK DIAMOND (6) is taking on the jumps for a second time after winning at her first attempt in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at Pakenham five weeks ago when well-supported. Poses a major threat. IRISH BUTTERFLY (4) is looking to improve on a last-start eighth on the flat over 1m4f at Sandown-Lakeside on August 7. Looms as a serious contender. SCHABAU (5) has been in solid form of late. Got the job done in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at Casterton two starts back then was only beaten 2 lengths when third (2m1 1/2f) at Casterton last start. Sure to be thereabouts.
