DUKE OF BEDFORD (3) was unplaced in a (2m1/2f) at Sale. Went to the flat subsequently and missed again when fifth over 1m2 1/2f at Mt Gambier, 7 lengths adrift of the winner. Tough to stop back over the jumps. FORT CHARLES (5) has experienced lluctuating fortunes of late. Two runs back found one better (2m1 1/2f) at Pakenham. Fortunes turned last start when he fell (2m3f) at Casterton. Hard to fault on his best form and must be respected. INDIAN DOLL (8) is looking to improve on a last-start eighth on the flat over 2m at Terang on August 15. One of the leading contenders. ROSIE ROSE (9) is looking to improve on a last-start tenth on the flat over 1m4f at Geelong on August 9. One of the leading contenders.
