RAPIDO EXPRESSO (5) missed the placings on debut two runs back then didn't feature last start when 14 lengths away in ninth over 7f at Ballarat. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. STRIKE FIRST (7) has registered two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Produced another good performance last time out when second over 7½f at this track after he was in the firing line all the way. Nicely placed to take this out. BOYS NIGHT OUT (1) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start over 7f at Ballarat, beaten one length. Has the ability to figure prominently. BURJ EMPEROR (2) finished 4 lengths away in seventh at his last appearance over 6½f at Echuca on June 13. No surprise if he figured in the finish.
