VANCOUVER RAIN (10) sped across from a poor gate to lead last time over 1m4f at Swan Hill but dropped out of it in the run home. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best figures should see her run well. FORTUNATE GAL (9) was never in contention last time over 1m4f at Swan Hill when she finished ninth, beaten 3.5 lengths. Worth including in this suitable contest. KISO (6) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 1m2 1/2f at Echuca. Likely to be about the mark again.
