COURAGEOUS LASS (3) was unplaced on debut then last start finished third over 5f124yards at Werribee after being in the firing line on the corner. Going up a level this time but she cannot be overlooked. MAITIMAUSU (6) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Colac, beaten 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. STREETWISE (9) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of seven months. Closed last campaign with a seventh over 6f at Sale, beaten 6 lengths. Winner of a recent trial. Capable of a big return. SHIRAZ SHABOO (8) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6½f at Ararat last start, a less impressive effort than her eighth on debut at Wangaratta the run before. Steps up a level but she is capable of running a bold race.
