THAILESS (6) finished 12th over 6f at Caulfield at her most recent appearance on June 29. Expect her to play a major role. ESECUTORE (2) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was in contention on the corner before being beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Murray Bridge. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will prove hard to beat. SUNDAY FUN DAY (5) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 3.5 lengths over 5½f at St Arnaud. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. EARTH GOD (8) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into tenth over 5f at Moonee Valley. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
