STAND UP FOR ME (2) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m4f at Bendigo a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Comes down a level this time. Should be in the finish. MR LINCOLN (1) is mixing his form, the latest effort a sixth over 1m7f at Moonee Valley. Will find this much easier. Best form puts him right in this. CLIFTON DANSEUR (3) did little and finished 13 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m4f at Mornington last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than his seventh at Launceston the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. GOLDEN GARDEN (4) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1m3 3/4f at Warrnambool. Likely to be about the money again.
