QUICK HAMMER (1) led throughout last start to score an effortless 3 lengths win over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Winning rider Dylan Davis sticks. Leading contender. BLUE PLATE SPECIAL (3) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 6f at this track (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Sure to make his presence felt. RIDER'S SPECIAL (4) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Rob Atras stable. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Churchill Downs (Dirt) eight months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Definite winning chance. KENTUCKY JOKER (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Finger Lakes, beaten 9 lengths into fourth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
