VALENZAN DAY (4) returned from a lay-off six days ago when he was beaten 11 lengths into eighth over 6f at this track. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. CHEEKY TICO (8) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 10 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Madison Olver gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DURKIN'S CALL (10) has been in the placings at his last two appearances, finishing third over 1m at this track (Dirt) most recently. Right in this.
