Sunday’s international acca: Italy and France target emphatic Euros send-offs

France's Kylian Mbappe

There’s a big round of international fixtures this Sunday evening which features World Cup finalists France and defending European champions Italy.

With the Euros just around the corner, participating teams are making their final preparations before making their way over to Germany.

Here, Planet Sport looks ahead to four tasty fixtures in Europe and one intriguing contest over in the World Cup CONCACAF qualifiers.

Planet Sport Bet special: Bet on an acca with a minimum of five selections and if you win, your payout will be boosted by 50%

Sunday’s acca

Italy to beat Bosnia
Georgia to beat Montenegro
Slovakia to beat Wales
France to beat Canada and both teams to score
Costa Rica -2 handicap vs Grenada

Italy vs Bosnia & Herzegovina (1945 BST)

Italy head into the European Championships as the defending champions and while they might not be bookies favourites to retain their crown, Luciano Spalletti’s men will be hoping to put on a fight.

The Italians have only lost one of their last 10 outings and are firm favourites to cap off their Euro preparations on a winning note.

Montenegro vs Georgia (1945 BST)

Georgia may be going through some political upheaval, though the nation’s football team will be looking to restore hope when they make their European Championships debut.

Before jetting off for the tournament, the team have one more test against Montenegro.

Georgia have lost just one of their last six games which came against Spain. With that in mind, we’re backing the visitors to get the victory.

Slovakia vs Wales (1945 BST)

Both Slovakia and Wales took on low-level opposition earlier in the week with varying results.

While Slovakia picked up a 4-0 victory over San Marino, Wales endured a somewhat embarrassing goalless draw with Gibraltar.

With Rob Page banking on youth, we’re backing the Slovaks to mark their final game before the Euros with a win.

France vs Canada (2015 BST)

World Cup finalists France welcome Canada to Bordeaux as they look for an emphatic win before Euro 2024.

Trouble is, the French defence has been somewhat leaky in recent times, conceding two goals against Chile, Germany and Greece in three of their last four matches.

With that in mind, we’re backing Canada to get on the scoresheet in a losing effort.

Grenada vs Costa Rica (2200 BST)

We end the acca with a World Cup qualifier between Grenada and Costa Rica.

Granada are winless in their last nine international outings and they are in for a tough test against Costa Rica who recently held in-form Uruguay to a 0-0 draw.

With that in mind, Costa Rica in the -2 handicap market is the way to go.
