For the second matchday in a row, the numbers tell us the best value bet is to oppose Inter Miami again. They're marginal favourites, but we make DC worthy of being even money favourites.
Wayne Rooney slaughtered DC's efforts in the wake of the Toronto defeat and got an immediate response. However, they let a 2-0 lead slip on Wednesday, drawing 2-2 with Montreal.
There has to be a response to that and United sorely need a 90-minute performance. Inter Miami are a good opportunity given Neville has been fired and they look like a baron shambles.
Jean Mota and Rodolfo Pizarro were sorely missed and that should be the case again on Saturday. Their creativity and movement are crucial.
Josef Martinez might be a massive goal threat, but there's no one to feed him. Corentin Jean is the only other player on this team producing one key pass per game.
On the opposite side, Mateusz Klich and Christian Benteke have combined for 15 goal involvements in 15 matches.
Their key players are also producing a combined 5.8 key passes per game. They're a threat going forward, so it really is just the defence that needs fixing. They may find life easier against Inter.
DC have only lost two of their last nine matches and in terms of xG, they're living up to their performance. They should have a positive goal difference on their travels, but they're -2 because of goals conceded.
Rooney's men will be hungry for that clean sheet and four of their six season wins have come without conceding. Inter have lost half of their games this season without scoring.
