Everton v Arsenal: Prediction, tips and bet builder as Toffees hold firm against Gunners

Arsenal travel to Everton still a whopping 12 points behind Liverpool in the title race, and surely aren’t expecting Arne Slot’s side to have a massive slip up.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta won’t publicly admit the title is Liverpool’s, but inside he must know the gig is up, and his team selection against Everton will surely have a close eye on the Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Gabriel being ruled out to the end of the season, is a huge blow and he joins several defenders on the treatment table including Riccardo Calafiori, Ben White and possibly Jurrien Timber.

The good news is that Bukayo Saka is back, but surely Arteta won’t be wanting to rush him back to action for a full 90 before the Real Madrid match.

Everton were unlucky to lose to Liverpool in midweek, and had been on a nine-match unbeaten run before that defeat. They will certainly feel like they can grab something from this.

Everton are unbeaten at Goodison in their last five league games, while Arsenal have drawn six times away from home in the league this season including their last against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.

Everton have scored in nine of 10 matches, while the Gunners have struggled to keep clean sheets away from home.

The last time the two sides met at the Emirates back in December it was 0-0.
