Bayern Munich pushing for Harry Kane but Tottenham remain favourites to keep striker in North London
The bookmakers are backing Tottenham to keep hold of their star forward despite serious interest from Bayern Munich.
The race for Harry Kane's signature is well and truly on this summer with Bayern Munich intent on bringing the England international to Bavaria.
The 29-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur and talk around his potential departure is beginning to gather pace.
Kane bagged 30 Premier League goals last season which was an impressive haul for a Tottenham side which endured a hugely underwhelming campaign.
Spurs finished in eighth place and will not compete in Europe next season after falling one point behind a Europa Conference League qualifying spot.
Manchester United have kept close tabs on Kane, however with Spurs unwilling to let their star striker leave to a direct rival, a move abroad is more likely.
While the Old Trafford club are priced at 8/1 to get their hands on the England skipper, Bayern Munich are currently available at 11/8.
The Bundesliga champions, who are still looking to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski, had a £60m bid rejected by Tottenham.
Spurs value Kane closer to £100m, though Bayern are unlikely to splash that kind of money with the striker in the last year of his contract.
With that in mind, it's no surprise to see Tottenham priced at 8/11 to keep Kane in North London.
There are other clubs available at longer odds, with Real Madrid currently priced at 12/1 and Chelsea at 25/1.
