Social Zone: Antonio Conte makes bizarre claim while Steve Bruce remains winless

Steve Bruce

Antonio Conte compares winning domestic trophies in England to European Cups, Steve Bruce is yet to win this season and Pep Guardiola refuses to apologise to Everton.

Jesse Marsch is very 'focused' on the task ahead and is promising Leeds United fans that he will do all he can to keep them in the Premier League.

"My respect and admiration for Marcelo Bielsa is massive. How he's helped transform Leeds United into a Premier League team is pretty amazing. Everything that's been done has laid an incredible foundation and coming into this moment I just want to try to do everything I can to help take the club into the next phase of our history," Marsch said.

Most Leeds fans will have enjoyed his interview as the American said all of the right things and more importantly, he is yet to say soccer.

West Brom's poor run continued - the latest being a 2-0 defeat to the hands of Swansea City at the Hawthorns.

When Steve Bruce was appointed, the Baggies were in the mix for promotion but they now sit in 13th spot.

Bruce is yet to win from his first five games and the stat below says it all for the ex-Newcastle United boss this season.

Everton are demanding an apology after a VAR blunder denied them a penalty against Manchester City.

Frank Lampard's side are languishing in 17th place, one point above the drop.

One person they won't be receiving an apology from is Man City boss Pep Guardiola.

It's fair to say, Antonio Conte has had a topsy-turvy start to his tenure at Tottenham.

The Italian's biggest outburst saw him threaten to walk out on the club as he questioned his own ability following a 1-0 loss to Burnley.

His latest statement is an interesting one too...

Edouard Mendy turns 30 today and since joining Chelsea, he has had quite the impact.

It wasn't always like this for the goalkeeper though. Happy birthday, Edouard.
