Sevilla could cash in on World Cup star Youssef En-Nesyri
Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri had a fantastic World Cup for his country Morocco, to become the only African side to ever reach the semi-final stage of the world show-piece.
The 25-year-old scored twice at the World Cup, netting against Canada, plus in the quarter-final against Portugal he scored the winning goals to take Morocco to the semi-final stage.
According to Fichajes, following En-Nesyri's stunning performance during the World Cup, Sevilla are hoping to make that work in their favour by selling their star forward, plus a few other players.
The reason being is that Sevilla have been struggling with financial issues of late and need to free up funds so that new manager Jorge Sampaoli can go to the January transfer market and get the players he needs for the rest of the La Liga campaign and beyond.
This means that En-Nesyri and international teammate Yassine Bounou would be ideal to sell due to their inflated prices following their showing in Qatar 2022.
En-Nesyri, who was linked to join West Ham United last summer, is expected to being in around 25 million Euros to Sevilla should he be sold.
