Nottingham Forest: Four potential departures on deadline day as Championship clubs show interest

Steve Cook of Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest could unload four players by the end of deadline day as Championship clubs continue to knock on their door.

Striker Lyle Taylor, for instance, has been closely linked with Reading. The 32-year-old has not made a single appearance for Nottingham Forest this season and has only made the substitutes bench twice.

Taylor spent last season on loan at Birmingham where he scored five goals in 14 Championship appearances.
Another player targeted by Paul Ince's Reading is 29-year-old midfielder Cafu.
The former Olympiacos player has made just two appearances for Steve Cooper this season - one of them against Grimsby in the EFL Cup.
Lewis O'Brien is another name linked with a potential move to the Championship.
The former Huddersfield midfielder arrived at City Ground in the summer and has since made 17 appearances across all competitions.
Promotion contenders Blackburn and Sheffield United are both in talks with Forest over O'Brien.
Elsewhere, Stoke City, Luton Town and Blackburn have all expressed their interest in signing Steve Cook.
The defender, who joined Forest during last year's winter window, has made 34 appearances for the club - including 12 in the Premier League.
