Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch praised for tactical plan as Chelsea are stunned at Elland Road
Leeds United continued their unbeaten start to the Premier League season after powering to a shock 3-0 victory over Chelsea.
Brendan Aaronson, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison scored the goals as Leeds moved into the top four having picked up seven points from their opening three games.
Jesse Marsch was able to mastermind the win despite sharing the dugout with Thomas Tuchel who was red carded during last weekend's draw with Tottenham.
The German's touchline ban was suspended, meaning he watched the defeat unfold from close distance.
After the match, Leeds midfielder Aaronson told Sky Sports: "We dreamed about it for a long time and for me it's a dream come true, and for this club it shows how much progress we've made."
When asked about work rate, he added: "It kind of just shows you who wants it more. We had the drive today, the crowd got us pumped up the whole time."
Winger Harrison credited boss Jesse Marsch, saying: "I think we conducted a really good tactical plan from Jesse.

"Right from the start we knew how important it was to come out strong and be ruthless. Everyone was on the same page and we managed to do that in the first half and set the tone from there.
"We have to try and aim for this performance every week now. It's difficult to do that but, if we can have something to aim for and hopefully go further as well, that's always motivation for us."
Next up for Leeds is a trip to Brighton who have also kicked off the campaign with two wins and a draw.
