Fulham land Dan James and Carlos Vinicius before window shuts
Fulham just scraped the signing of 24-year-old winger Dan James from Leeds on a season-long loan through the transfer as it slammed shut.
The Welsh international started his career at Swansea City before joining Manchester United for £18million. But after failing to make a big impact at Old Trafford he was shuffled across to Leeds for £25m.
He scored four goals and five assists in his first season at Elland Road, helping the club avoid relegation back to the Championship on the final day of the 2021/22 season.
Speaking to FFCtv, James said: "I'm looking forward to it!
"I've spoken to the Gaffer and it feels like a great fit for me, and I can't wait to get started."
Fulham vice chairman Tony Khan added: "I'm thrilled to welcome Dan James to Fulham. He's an exciting talent, and he's gained tremendous playing experience at a young age, both domestically and internationally.
"Dan is very keen to play for Marco here at Fulham, and we're delighted to have him join the squad as we work to continue the great momentum that the team has started this season with.
Earlier Fulham signed Carlos Vinicius from Benfica for an undisclosed fee from Benfica on a three-year deal
"I'm really happy to be here. I think it's a big club with good people, so I'm really, really happy," he said.
"I'm happy to be back in the Premier League again. I'm more experienced now and I think I can help the Club."
