Antoine Griezmann targeted by Manchester United - report
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has been brilliant for France during the 2022 World Cup and will be hoping to become a back-to-back world champion in today's final against Argentina.
According to Fichajes, the 31-year-old Griezmann's form has attracted the attention of Manchester United, who reportedly want to make a move and sign the forward during the January transfer window.
With Cristiano Ronaldo having left the Red Devils in November, Griezmann is seen as the ideal player to fill the gap left by the Portuguese superstar.
Despite wanting Griezmann, the Premier League side will need to offer an outrageous amount of money to sign the forward from Atleti, who is part of a group of players deemed "unsellable" by the La Liga side.
The four "unsellable" players at Atletico are said to be - goalkeeper Jan Oblak, who has been at the club since 2014, Club captain Koke, midfielder Reinildo Mandava and Griezmann - who recently made his loan-move permanent from former club Barcelona.
