England vs Chile tips and suggested bets: World Cup Minnows could offer early shock and cards

Referee Paul Williams shows the yellow card to Alfonso Escobar of Chile during the Rugby World Cup France

England look to give their attack lift off in their World Cup clash with Chile in Lille on Saturday afternoon at 1645 (BST).

England are the clear and obvious favourites, and while Chile have certainly played with flair and heart so far, they are probably on a hiding to nothing.

It is a rejigged England that will take on the minnows, but there isn't really a suggestion of a serious weakness for a team who look very likely semi-finalists at least.

Chile are ranked 22nd in the world and offer the scope to experiment as well as rest key personnel with tougher assignments against Samoa on October 7 and a potential quarter-final to come.

England have Marcus Smith slotting in at 15 and presumably likely to swap places with fly-half Owen Farrell, who makes his return from suspension.

Smith adds a creative force at 15 and it is most likely that left wing Max Malins will be the chief beneficiary. His ability in the air makes him a good punt for the match's first try.

Chile scored first in matches against Japan and Samoa and have shown enough in attack to attract some money on attractive odds to open the scoring with a five-pointer.

Hard-running Chile No 8 Alfonso Escobar is an excellent pick to get on the board for the South Americans.

Chile have struggled with interpretations of the laws and likely won't enjoy the often pedantic refereeing of Jaco Peyper.

While Chile have scored tries in each of their matches so far, they have also seen players sent to the sin bin in both encounters, in fact, they have seen four players yellow carded, the most of any team in the tournament so far.

Matias Dittus, Martín Sigren, Escobar and Esteban Inostroza are all candidates to become the first player to be sin-binned twice at this Rugby World Cup.

England are yet to see a player yellow carded, and not even the return of Owen Farrell will bring the cards out, and they should be composed enough to stay in Peyper's good books.

England vs Chile tips:

Max Malins first tryscorer
Alfonso Escobar anytime tryscorer
Total cards over 2.5
