Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has provided a scary update on the team's future prospects as they gear up to introduce upgrades at the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen has delivered a foreboding update on Red Bull's future prospects as the championship-leading team gears up to introduce upgrades at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Dutchman's triumph at Silverstone last weekend extended Red Bull's winning streak to 11, a run that began at the final race of the previous season in Abu Dhabi, equalling McLaren's all-time Formula 1 record.
Verstappen has stretched his championship lead to a commanding 99 points over his teammate Sergio Perez, who has faced recent difficulties, while the rest of the field has struggled to keep pace with Red Bull.
Mercedes, Aston Martin, and Ferrari have oscillated between second and fourth in the pecking order, briefly joined by Alpine at one point.
McLaren's latest upgrades propelled Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri into contention for podium finishes at the British Grand Prix, further solidifying Red Bull's comfortable position.
However, the reigning Constructors' champion intends to introduce fresh components to the RB19 at the Hungaroring next weekend in an effort to cement its advantage.
Verstappen, previously puzzled by the ever-changing hierarchy behind Red Bull, expressed to the media: "The consistent factor thus far is that every single weekend, it seems like we are on top, which, of course, is of utmost importance to us."
Announcing a range of upgrades for the Red Bull, the two-time World Champion added: "Hungary presents a completely different track. We will implement some upgrades on the car there, and hopefully, they will perform well.
Regarding the focus of the upgrades, Verstappen ominously remarked: "Drag, low speed, medium speed, high speed, DRS effect, tyre wear... all of these areas. That's what we're working on. I'm not joking."
Mark your calendars for Sunday, 23 July, as the Hungarian Grand Prix awaits at the Hungaroring.
