Market Rasen each-way tip: Before Midnight to upset the odds

Market Rasen

Tipstrr's each-way aficionados have been peering over Sunday's cards and this competitive handicap chase at Market Rasen has attracted their interest.

16:35 Market Rasen: Lives Handicap Chase (2 miles 5.5 furlongs)

A rare July jumps meeting has piqued the interest of the Tipstrr, with seven coming to post for this handicap chase.

Jerrash is the favourite and won well at Bangor last time out by five-and-a-half lengths.

He has also won before at Ascot, Plumpton and Fontwell and looks like he could be difficult to beat here, especially with the dependable Sean Bowen in the saddle.

Jonjo O'Neill's Itso Fury has been attracting plenty of attention from the punters, but in recent times it's been stop-start for the gelding, with three lengthy breaks in just over a year.

However, when he has been on the track he has been in decent shape, with a win at Wincanton and a third at Kelso both coming in the past year.

The Tipstrr camp think there's better value elsewhere, in particularly in the each-way market.

Before Midnight has the backing of the each-way experts and the experienced 11-year-old is coming into this one fresh.

He was impressive at Ludlow last time out in April, finishing second just one length behind the winner and he also picked up another top three finish back in November

He has a good record in chases overall, finishing in the first three in over half of his outings over the larger obstacles.

Trainer Fergal O'Brien has a good record in chases too, with a 20 percent strike rate over the past five years, while jockey Ben Sutton has picked up wins at Newton Abbot and Stratford in recent weeks.

With decent odds, the Tipstrr camp think that Before Midnight is well worth an each-way flutter.

Suggested best bet: Before Midnight each-way in the 16:35 at Market Rasen
