ANABALLISTIC (9) settled in the leading division on debut last start but wilted close to home and finished fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6½f at Northam. Has ability and is among the chances. PATRIONIC STAR (3) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 5½f at Collie when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 5.5 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be ruled out.
