LE DERRIERE (1) finished fourth last start over 6f at Pakenham after racing on the pace for much of the way. Sure to give a great sight. ATTAIN (2) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Sandown-Lakeside with a win as public elect over 6f at Pakenham a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a long neck. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. GUERITE (6) is back from a lay-off of ten months. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 6f contest at Donald by 2.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. A bold showing is expected. IMMORTAL SHIELD (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Ballarat, beaten 9 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
