EASY TURN (9) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Wangaratta, finishing third and only 1.4 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BAREFOOT TORA (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 13 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, beaten 2.25 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. GIFT OF ORATORY (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only a neck from the winner at the end of 1m1 3/4f after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ELOPED (10) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 0.8 lengths over 1m1f at Hanging Rock. Finds a suitable race and can feature in the finish.
