ART VOLANT (5) broke her maiden last start over 5f at Hawkesbury when resuming, scoring by a neck. Keagan Latham was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Can go right on with the job now. LIZZIE'S GEM (8) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 12th over 5½f at Scone, beaten 8 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MAFIA (1) last appeared on November 22 when a good fourth over 5f at Warwick Farm, beaten 2.75 lengths, which was his only run of the campaign. Blinkers come off expected to run well. ROYAL BOMBADIER (2) went forward and gave a great sight when third over 5½f at Hawkesbury last time out. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and three minor placings from six starts. Don't underestimate.
