INVADE AND CONQUER (2) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Will take a lot from that hitout. Has the talent to take this out. DU CAP (5) is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 5½f at this track seven days ago. Good effort last start and is expected to go well again. TITANIUM MISS (15) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Has ability and must be respected. RANHITA (7) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 2.25 lengths. Fitter for that run. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
