FIRING BULLETS (5) made progress last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. Group 3 placegetter METAPHYSICAL (3) is an imported four-year-old having his first run in this area for the Tony Michael Gattellaro stable. Last appeared when second over 7f in the G3 Dogwood Stakes at Churchill Downs (Dirt) eight months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly for the new connections but she is expected to be in the finish. KIN'S CONCERTO (1) closed last prep three months ago when she finished second over 7½f at Gulfstream Park. Major player. READY FOR SHIRL (8) won on debut last time out four weeks ago over 1m1/2f at Keeneland, getting home by 3.5 lengths. This sets up nicely.
